Meet the Masters

Shizu Hamono is a family owned knife making business in Seki, Japan.

They started producing their first knives in 1980, and continue to this day with a great deal of pride and attention to detail in their work.

Shizu Hamono care deeply about the quality of knives they produce; because of this, they make limited runs and are hard to find.

We’re one of the lucky ones who stock their Yuri and Yamato knives.
